When you search on Google, you’ll find thousands or even millions of matching web pages. The most relevant results are displayed first, but if you want to see more options, just click Next or More Results at the bottom of the search results page.
If you want to find results that use a very specific phrase, you can surround your search term in quotation marks to tell Google you only want to see results that match that exact phrase. This can be helpful in multiple situations.
How do I reset my Google search results?
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial. Search history.
- Choose the Search history you want to delete. You can choose: All your Search history: Above your history, tap Delete. Delete all time.
If you want to view your Google search history on your Android phone, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Google > Manage Your Google Account.
2. Under “Data & Personalization”, scroll down to “Activity and timeline” and hit My Activity.
3. Scroll through to check your search history. Just tap on any file to view more details.
Why is Google not showing all search results?
– Restart your device and try your search again.
– If you’re able to connect to the Internet, update the Google app to the latest version.
– To check if you get results, try your search again.
– When you clear an app’s cache, you delete data stored in a temporary area of the device’s memory.
Google only fetches one page of results at a time from its index. For the first page, it has to make a statistical estimate of how many results there might be. That estimate may be close, or it may be way off! Google doesn’t know how many results there actually are until it gets to the last one.

Your search history is saved to your Google account as part of your web and app activity, along with activity from other Google services.
Do Google searches expire?
Your Google Workspace search history is automatically deleted after 18 months.
If you’re having trouble connecting to the Internet, try restarting your device and updating the Google app to the latest version.
If you’re not seeing any history when you access Google My History, it’s probably because you’re not logged into the correct Google account. To fix this, just tap on the profile icon in the upper right-hand corner and select the option to Add Another Account.
